Great spot that\'s well connected with the north and north-western side of the city. This particular beach is the best one with a nice shallow spot which curves round its little bay.

For the curious and creative explorers... if you take a look around the area you may find the odd natural feature you can shred (note the mammoth log in the photo)

.Best times/day are daytime on weekdays and early morning on weekends. Can get very crowded in summer in the daytime on weekends.
